Hello 6th grade students and families!

I hope you are all doing well during these challenging times. I am disappointed at the fact that we will not be in the classroom together during these last 2 months of school. I am grateful that we are able to stay connected digitally. I look forward to our zoom meetings so I can see your bright smiley faces.  

For the next few weeks I will be posting assignments onto google classroom. I will communicate with students through google classroom and through email. I will communicate with parents through class dojo and also through email. 

I will hold a zoom chat at least once a week. Right now that time is scheduled for Wednesdays at 11:00.

Along with google classroom assignments, students should be logging into Let's go learn and completing a minimum of 30 minutes for math and 30 minutes of language arts a week.

I sent an email to parents with the link to sign up for epic books. This gives students access to hundreds of books online for all ages and all reading levels. 

(Reading should be done 30 minutes a day)  

This work is not meant to stress out students or parents. I am providing a variety of opportunities for student learning. Please work with what best fits you and your family during this time. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns.
